Konavle Day Tour

Konavle is the fertile valley stretching south from Dubrovnik toward the Montenegrin border, fed by the spring-clear Ljuta river and known for the folk costumes and traditional dances still performed in villages like Čilipi on summer Sunday mornings.

The tour’s centrepiece is lunch at Konavoski Dvori, a national restaurant built directly over the Ljuta, serving home-style Croatian dishes — peka-baked lamb and veal, grilled trout straight from the river, prosciutto and cheese in olive oil — on a riverside terrace surrounded by Mediterranean greenery. It’s a slower-paced half day out, better suited to a relaxed lunch than a sightseeing checklist.
