About Dubrovnik Airport

Dubrovnik Airport was officially renamed Dubrovnik Ruđer Bošković Airport in honour of the Croatian scientist, though most travellers and locals still call it Dubrovnik Airport or Čilipi Airport, after the village where it’s located. Its codes are DBV (IATA) and LDDU (ICAO), and it sits about 15.5 km (9.5 miles) south-east of Dubrovnik’s Old Town.

There is only one terminal, so arrivals are straightforward — your driver waits just outside the exit with your name visible, whether you’re flying in from a major European hub or a regional connection.

About Cavtat

Cavtat is Croatia’s southernmost coastal resort, around 20 km south of Dubrovnik and just 22 km from the Montenegrin border. Built around a natural harbour with a palm-lined seafront promenade, it gives you Dubrovnik’s scenery with a quieter, small-town pace.

Cavtat sits in the Konavle region, known for its folk costumes, embroidery and traditional dances — still performed by locals in the village of Čilipi on spring and summer Sunday mornings. The town is also the birthplace of painter Vlaho Bukovac, whose family home is now a museum open to visitors.
